Chapter One. The Invitation
The Management of Jo & Blake cordially invites you to witness the highly improbable union of two emotionally repressed but secretly sentimental individuals.
This ceremony shall take place in the enchanting and architecturally symmetrical city of Porto, Portugal on September 26th, 2026.
Chapter Two. Their Story
They met in a vintage bookshop during a torrential downpour on a Tuesday of no particular significance.
She was alphabetizing the travel section without permission. He was feigning comprehension of Hemingway.
Eight years. Two dogs. Forty-two disputes regarding cardinal directions. Three Netflix subscriptions. Zero regrets.
Jo & Blake selected Porto for its exceptional symmetry, adequate wine reserves, and it’s refreshing lack of American soil.

A Note From The Management Regarding the Evening’s Proceedings:
Guests will find libations and grazing spreads on the terrace. Arrival time suggested for 5pm, sunset is scheduled for 7:24pm local (we’ve checked with the appropriate authorities for appropriate vibe readiness).
A note on practicalities: temperatures decline with the sunset. Other inquiries have been catalogued in the FAQ Dossier.
Jo & Blake will be otherwise occupied exchanging private love letters and will join society at their discretion. Upon their emergence, guests are allowed exuberance and hugs (likely high fives for Jo due to costume restriction) and all will rejoice in a champagne or related toast (or three) and merriment prior to the brisk I Do portion of the evening.
The remaining agenda is an evening of family style dining, imbibing, and dancing of dubious quality - skill optional, spirit mandatory. Please refer to Chapter Four for inspiration.
The Management wishes to clarify:
This gathering emphasizes libations, semi choreographed movement, and spontaneous joy. Traditional formalities have been deliberately omitted. Uptightness strictly prohibited.
Management appreciates your adherence to protocol.
Chapter Four. The Ambiance.
The Management encourages guests to embrace glitter, sequins, and the full visible spectrum with enthusiasm. Conformity will not be tolerated, please arrive as your most peculiar self.
Monochromatic black ensembles discouraged except in cases of medical necessity. (doctor’s note required for verification)
